Very good quality basket. I use it in the bathroom to hold my hairbrushes, combs, etc. It is strong and pretty. I highly recommend it.Very cute, looks exactly like the pictures on this listing. I ordered 2 of these and both of them don't lay perfectly flat and wobble a little. They slide a lot on top of the toilet, recommend putting a plastic drawer liner or other grippy mat down before putting the baskets on the toilet. The sections are a little too small to fit the Charmin long lasting rolls which are a little bigger than normal rolls, looks like it should fit a normal-sized roll. The sections also perfectly fit women's pads.What the heck are they asking us to rate “softness” for in our review? It’s made of woven, dried plant. It’s not supposed to be soft! That being said, I do like this basket. It makes my toilet top look much neater, and I can get a roll of Charmin ultra strong in the middle compartment after a slight wiggle. It holds all I need it to.My one and only complaint about this basket is that it had a smell to it...something along the lines of wet, slightly decaying hay. I guess its because of the materials it is made of but I didn't expect such a strong odor. I placed the basket underneath my coffee table to organize remotes and such and I kept smelling it from where I was sitting on my couch. I don't notice the smell too much any more, weeks later, but I don't know if its because the smell faded or because I got used to it. Otherwise, it is the color I expected, is sturdy/well constructed and serves its purpose well of organizing a few odds and ends in my living room. Its nice for the price but maybe let it air out for a little while outside or in a garage before you put it to use.I purchased this Americanflat Natural Rectangular Woven Storage Basket in the “Natural Water Hyacinth” color, as well as a magazine holder from the same vendor, same finish. Both items were well-packed, strong and sturdy. However, the storage basket I received was not as pictured; instead it was, weirdly enough, overall a much darker, very brown, almost greenish color.Water hyacinth is, of course, a natural fiber, with variable color, yet, no other water hyacinth item I own is quite that consistently dark (see photo). I wrote to the company to see if it’d be possible to obtain the product closer to as it was pictured. They responded quickly, yet the answer was no. Am guessing they must have gotten an entire lot that was that darker color.It was disappointing and inconvenient that they weren’t willing (or able) to pick a couple items (or at least one) reasonably close in color, especially since I’d ordered both from their company. But at least they told me, and so both were returned. Instead, I got the ones from StorageWorks, neither of which were overly dark, and am very happy with the seamless look they provide.It matched the other rush items in my bathroom but the compartments are still not wide enough to hold a toilet paper roll each. And if you have to jam them in there it rips the paper. So if you use it for anything else I guess it would be great.The picture doesn't capture the true colors of the basket. The weaves are a mix of honey, dark brown and light brown it's a very attractive mixture. The compartments were bigger than expected. Overall it's a really nice basket it appears to be strongly built too.Nicely made and fit the required measurements for my widow sill box. I have a window between my bath and sunroom and this is the first time I have been able to have a window box. The plants benefit from the added humidity and I get to see them from both sides. I simply used velcro to secure the basket to the slanted sill. Shipped quickly and good quality. This is the best I found in my research for my needs.super!Came as advertised !
