Great addition to your BGE. Makes it easier to clean out ash and easier to get BGE started.My husband says this is perfect for our grill, saves charcoal, easy to sift ashes, etc. Fits Primo ROUND Large grill very well.I purchased this basket to use in my Weber Jumbo Joe. I was hoping that it would fit with the handles under my grill. It will not. Having said that, I knew this going in that this could be a possibility of some interference. I will cut the handles off and reweld them shorter. I may not even put them back on. As a note about the quality of the build of this basket, it is absolutely perfect for lump charcoal. The grates are close enough together for the really small pieces that invariably comes in a bag. The welds are good. I would recommend this to anyone wondering about the quality or otherwise. The modifications that I'm discussing above has no bearing on Seleware's quality or reputation. Having said that, if they decreased the height dimension by 1/2 inch (13mm) on both heights of the basket and handle, it would be absolutely perfect for the Weber Jumbo Joe, which would open up a another line to them, but would not affect the quantity of charcoal that could be used. The second pic shows it under the cooking grate.Keeps ashes in placeI didn't want to spend a lot of money on my "ancient" kamodo. This worked wonderfully replacing the rotted metal fire box.I read an ash basket was essential for Kamado grilling but I wanted to use my new grill “organically” and test it without at first. I was getting annoyed with coals burning out, not burning hot, etc. This ash basket solved all that. I like the smaller grids at the bottom to contain the smaller bits of lump charcoal and saving the reusable charcoal is so easy with this. You just shake out the ash and pace the basket back with new coals on top. You use this without the cast iron coal grate at the bottom of the Kamado for maximum air circulation. Save money buying off brand.Well built and easy to use. Fits lg eggThis thing really makes a difference in air flow. I've been with it 3 to 4 times a week for past several months and start up times are better and ask cleaning is easier. Seems to be holding up well and it's about half the price of the other basket...you know the one ;-)
