This item came in the box assembled and is the perfect addition to our foyer. I love it! If you’re looking for a not too expensive piece of functional and decently made furniture, this is it!Wasn’t as large as I expected as it was purchased for an entry way but moved it to the master bedroom and fit perfectly.Beautiful piece, nice addition, holds shoes etc..(pic1) upon arrival had damage to the packaging and damage to the back of the seating area (pic2) although can be hidden, also after removing packaging damage to the backside underneath and the bench with split on the bench foot.(pics 3-5)No sense in sending back to costly.Although packaged well corner of the bench arrived crushedAdorable, sturdy and came put together except having to screw in the feet.This bench works for me. It’s light weight, well built comfortable to sit on and stylish. The cushion is removable with a zippered cover if washing is necessary. The basket drawers are roomy enough for hats gloves and scarves. Shoe storage would be limited, a couple of pair of adult shoes per basket drawer. The smaller drawers could hold children's shoes or sandals. I use them to stash the dogs harnesses and leashes. Over all it’s a functional piece that adds interest and style to my entry way.This is the perfect little bench! It sits right in my foyer! This little guy was already assembled when I received it and it is amazing quality. Definitely will buy another one as accent furniture for the master bedroom.We purchased this trying to match our new kitchen as we have followed the theme through into the hallway.We knew in advance the chances of a match were slim to none colour wise and so had planned to repaint it.After assembly (you screw four feet on!) we were surprised as it was better than I’d expected to be honest.The issues though do need pointing out…1) the colour is poor, not the shade but the finish. It’s washy and the bare wood shows through as if they did ons coat and left it. This means it’s patchy in areas as shown in my image.2) one of the feet screws on off centre, not a huge issue but could be better.3) works for us but the padded seat is closer to grey than white, just bare this in mind if ordering.4) few scruffs where the paints come off. Had we not already planned to repaint it I’d be sending it back for an exchange.Hope that helps.
